On 15 of September Miss Woulfe my teacher was off for the day on CRT so Mrs T our digital technologies expert taught my class for a day. We learnt how to be a digital citizen and how to look after ourselves on the internet. We went old fashioned today, ( that means we used pen and paper! ) Mrs T set us to do a poster on a statement that relates to being a good digital citizen. My statement was, keeping personal information safe. It was great fun having Mrs T in!
It's always great to work with you Dani. With us going ole' school yesterday I was able to restore all Room 20's chromebooks to factory settings and then re-enroll them onto the school's admin console. I too have done lot's of learning this year. It has certainly been a steep hill at times to climb especially as I'm just a trained teacher not a techie.
ReplyDeleteI suppose that is where I can be a role-model to you guys - You never stop learning. When I started teaching I never thought I would ever teach at a primary school that has a radio station, tv studio. Chromebooks weren't even thought about.
I shared our school's digital citizenship poster today and Liam in Room 22 noticed that we didn't have a statement about keeping our private and personal information safe.
It was great fun having you in Mrs T!
