Totara Springs Camp!

On 16 November 2015 Rooms 20 and 21 went to Totara Springs in Matamata.  We spent three days of fun filled activities.  One night we were singing at the campfire making damper, (If you don't know what damper is visit this link damper) and the other night we went on a burma trail. A burma trail is when you follow rope into the darkness and the parent helpers jump out and scare you.  My favourite activity was something called flying kiwi.

Waikato Times

A reporter from Waikato Times Newspaper came to our school to investigate the passion classrooms in Syndicate 4! One person from each class in Syndicate 4 came down to the front of the school and had a picture taken! Here is what the picture looked like. That's me second on to the right.   :)

Friday Special!

On the radio every Friday for the first block Solomon and I host something called our Friday Special! What we do is we man the station all the way up to interval and it's filled with interviews, fun facts and sharing of student learning for the week.  So tune in and listen every Friday after the notices!

Interview With The Mayor!

Today at T.A.P.S we had Jim Mylchreest the mayor come in the radio station and have an interview! Here are the questions I asked him...

  1. What float will the council be putting in the christmas parade?
  2. What progress have we made on the new library?
  3. Is the museum moving with the  new library?
  4. What are the plans for Te Awamutu e.g. projects for 2016?
  5. What is your biggest achievement this year?
  6. What are the most important issues for the town at present?

We did it approximately five minutes after the daily notices.

Welcome Back To Term 4!

Welcome back! Sorry for the wait, this term is just so busy! I have a lot of things planned so I will try to post at least twice a week.
