Multi Media

Hi, have you ever wondered about the process of creating ads and movies?

Ads
Creating ads is a long process and normally takes more than one person. The first step to creating ads is creating a Google form and send it to the business, on the form it will have all the details you would want in the ad.

The next step is to write the script. In the script you would want to have the three H's. The 3H's are: Here's what we've got, Here's what it will do for you and Here's what you have to do next. You would want to put in how to contact them as well as the address. Sometimes [If the business allows it] kids can be the voice that is recording and not the adults. But some business may want the owner to speak in it, if so you need to set up a date to record.

Then you need to record it. You can record it however you like, but I record on a microphone. Then plug it into your PC or download it. I use this app called Audacity, Audacity lets you edit the sound bite to how you want it, you can clip, cut and add music in the background. Note: You don't have to use Audacity!

Once you have finished the complete soundbite you send it to the business to see if they like  it. I send it through gmail because I think it is the easiest way to do it but you can do it differently. Once you have the final confirmation and the finished product then you can advertise it how the business wanted. Since we had the radio that how we like to advertise.

Movies
Creating movies is normally a team job but doesn't have to be. First you need a movie creating software, I use something called 'corel'.

If you want to use video clips by your camera/phone/Gopro you need to load the clips onto your PC. Then you just add them into the editing software. Make sure you check the sound in case it is not too loud and not too quiet. You can also play around with all the addons and see if there is anything that could work in the movie.

But before you go straight to the clips put a colourful and eye catching title. And after the movie make sure if you were working with a team put credit in where credit is due. Make sure you keep the audience hooked in all through the movie and they don't get bored halfway.
